Penilaian Formatif

• Formative evaluation encompasses /includes thoseactivities undertaken to improve an intended program. Itis carried out both the development of a new programand the implementation of the program.

 • In the curriculum development phase, formativeevaluation furnishes evidence that will direct decisionsthat can be made about how to revise a program while itis being developed. Formative evaluation takes place ata number of specified points during the curriculumdevelopment process. It provides the opportunity for theevaluators to modify, reject or accept the program as it is evolving.
